Loren Allred is a Singer, songwriter, and pianist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. She is well known for her remarkable vocal performance of “Never Enough” on the Oscar-nominated and Grammy award-winning “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack and film. In 2012, Loren was a contestant on the third season of NBC’s singing television show The Voice. In 2022, Loren auditioned for the fifteenth season of Britain’s Got Talent (BGT), performing “Never Enough”. Loren received the Golden Buzzer from Amanda Holden, sending her through to the semifinals.
Loren comes from a musical family and thus she was exposed to music at a very young age. She went on to study musical theatre at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and later at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. While in college in Boston, Loren was discovered and championed by Ne-Yo after uploading videos to YouTube. She landed a record deal with Island Def Jam. On September 24, 2021, she released her debut EP called Late Bloomer. Her songs include Never Enough, This Summer, Til I Found You, Miss Myself, Ordinary Day, Your Girl, and Since U Been Gone.

Loren came to the limelight in 2012 when she appeared as a contestant on the third season of The Voice. For her Blind Audition, she performed “When Love Takes Over” by David Guetta ft. Kelly Rowland and earned two chair turns. Loren joined Team Adam Levine. For the Battles stage, Loren performed Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” and advanced to the Knockouts after she was saved by her coach.
During the Knockouts, she performed Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good”, she was again saved by her coach and advanced to the Live Playoffs. During the Live Playoffs, Loren performed Lisa Stansfield’s “All Around the World” and failed to advance to the next stage. Loren Allred Parents
Loren was born to musician parents. Her mother, Carol Ann Allred, is a classical soprano and voice teacher; her father, Brady R. Allred, was formerly the director of the Pittsburgh Bach Choir and an artistic director and conductor of Salt Lake Choral Artists, an organization of seven choral ensembles.
Honored as “one of Utah’s Top 25 Cultural Power Brokers,” Brady has guest conducted, adjudicated, and given master classes throughout Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East.
Brady is a winner of the European Grand Prix, two First Prizes and the Conductors Prize at the Marktoberdorf International Chamber Choir Competition, and holds MM and DMA degrees in conducting from the Eastman School of Music. Prior to his full-time appointment as Artistic Director of SLCA, Dr. Allred was a Professor at the University of Utah and Duquesne University, Conductor of the Butler Symphony Orchestra, the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh, and a singer with the Robert Shaw Festival Singers and Oregon Bach Festival Chorus.
Under his direction the Salt Lake Choral Artists, a community choir of 200 singers, has achieved critical acclaim for their innovative concerts and Summer Choral Institute program. Formerly Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and the first recipient of the Ellen Neilson Barnes Presidential Endowed Chair for Choral Studies at the University of Utah, Dr. Allred was recently selected by The Salt Lake Tribune as one of Utah’s Top 25 Cultural Power Brokers.
Brady earned his Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts in Conducting degrees from the Eastman School of Music, and his Bachelor of Music degree in Theory/Composition and Flute Performance from Brigham Young University. He and his wife, soprano Carol Ann Allred, have traveled and performed extensively as Artistic Ambassadors for the United States Information Agency. They have four daughters and make their home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
