The characteristic top shelf is a common feature in the entire HAUGA series and adds to the traditional style. Regardless if you use it for hats, boxes, or decorations, the edge keeps your things in place.
A wide chest of drawers gives you plenty of storage space as well as room for lamps or other items you want to display on top.
The frame is easy to assemble thanks to the construction with a wedge dowel that easily clicks into the pre-drilled holes.
Use smaller boxes to organize the inside of your drawers and make sure even the smallest of items are easy to find. We offer boxes in a wide selection of styles and sizes.

Worst IKEA item I've ever boughtMickeyI love putting together new furniture and I do it for neighbors and friends for free. IKEA has always been great and affordable furniture. This product though was so poorly thought out with parts and instructions. They have you make the top chunk before the bottom so it can take as much space as possible which is horrible for people who have small spaces or just moved so there's boxes everywhere. Every wooden peg snaps immediately and the instructions have you build it upside down so the pieces snap when you make it upright. I don't know when they stopped labeling their parts but that made for a horrible experience too. Do NOT buy this piece, IKEA has a lot of better furniture 1

Easier to assemble than expectedRyanBased on so reviews, there were complaints about challenging steps that were frustrating. I found that the assembly was easier than expected (less than 2 hours). the piece of furniture is solid, can be securely secured to a wall, and feels like a good value. The instruction book IS bigger than usual, but stay calm and it breezes by.5

super flimsyJoeThis is very flimsy. We bought this for a kid's room and we broke a piece putting it together. So now it's unusable and IKEA won't accept it as a return because it was broken during assembly.1
Nice dresser But very time consuming assemblyBrianI am very experienced with IKEA products. I did 3 kitchens myself. This Hauga dresser is very time consuming to assemble. There are 5 bags full of hardware. The instructions pictures are not clear enough to see which way the panels need to be positioned during assembly so pay very close attention to the holes drilled in the panels and the pictures. The drawers take the most time to assemble. Pay close attention to the metal drawer parts that are marked CL CR DL DR. Once it is finished it looks very nice and feels sturdy. The bottom 2 drawers have wheels that roll on the floor so it could be a issue if you have thick carpet.5

Great for 2 kids!VictoriaWe needed to upgrade our dresser/storage setup with another baby on the way. This is perfect- each kiddo can have one side and the roll out drawers on the bottom fit diapers and extra bedding and such! Perfect furniture to grow with child. Assembly was on par with other ikea furniture, time consuming but not particularly difficult. I did it in 2 evenings over a few hours each. You definitely want a powered drill for assembling the drawers. But careful it’s on low impact setting, I broke one of the plastic screws with it being too strong. Unfortunately, there weren’t any spare hardware parts included. The only step you’d do best with 2 people is when you put the top and bottom together but that only takes minutes. The wall anchor it comes with is pretty cheap and ended up breaking when we hammered it into the wall. Thankfully, I had some spare ikea furniture anchor kits with much higher quality anchors, so I’d suggest getting a spare anchor kit when you buy it. 5

Good dresser but a lot of workCarrianneI love this dresser already but it was a beast to assemble. I opted to do it myself instead of hiring someone through task rabbit. Unfortunately, the instructions are pictures only. If you were good at the matching/memory game as a child, you might be okay. After assembling the 2 halves, it became very apparent that I would need a second person to line up the pegs with the top being lowered on to the base. Had to ask a neighbor I met once before to come in and assist. I started at 2 pm and finished at 9:30 pm to give you some perspective. I did take some breaks for wine. It was needed to get the wheels on all the doors. Also, there are flat screws and round screws. The round screws are for the wheels. I did not know that and spent some time swapping them out. There is a woodsy smell in my room that I hope will dissipate soon. Overall, it looks very nice in my bedroom. I'll probably order the matching night stand and bookcase eventually. I need to recover first!4
Very sturdyMichaelI am very impressed with the quality of this dresser. No issue with the parts as each piece was free from scuff marks and dents. It took me about 5 hours to build, with the help of a second person for a few steps. The bottom two drawers roll just fine on my carpet. I love how big it is as it is very practical. The drawer knobs are a greyish color, which I wasn’t expecting, but it still looks great. Overall, a great dresser!5
Connection system is a failureJenniferI love the look of this dresser, but the way the panels attach on either side is a total failure. The horizontal supports have plastic pegs on the end that simply side into holes cut into formica covered chipboard on the side. The slighest racking while assembling broke the receiving holes. We've had to add additional brackets and glue to even keep this together. I would NOT recommend purchasing this until they re-think the assembly.1

Great Dresser!AlayshaI just bought this dresser for my baby’s nursery because it’s small and we needed all the storage we could get, it’s awesome! I love the rolling bottom drawers to store extra diapers and wipes! It was a bit confusing to understand how to build and took time but definitely worth it! 4
